Organic Dried Goji Berries

Why Eat Goji Berries?

Antioxidant powerhouse • Zeaxanthin + carotenoids • Eye + skin health • Immune support • Vitamin A + C • Iron • Fiber • Plant protein • All 9 essential amino acids • Naturally occurring polysaccharides • Healthy aging + cellular protection

Small berry. Rather extraordinary résumé.

Beyond the Expected

Snack • Soak • Steep • Blend • Sprinkle • Bake

Eat straight from the bag or add to trail mix, yogurt, oatmeal and granola. Blend into smoothies, bake into breads and muffins or steep in hot water for a naturally sweet-tart goji tea.

Try soaking them. Dried goji berries soften beautifully in water or tea — and the vibrant soaking liquid can be enjoyed right along with them.

Small Berry. Serious Nutrition.

The Eye-Health Standout

Goji berries are exceptionally rich in zeaxanthin, a carotenoid concentrated in the retina of the eye.

Human research has found regular goji consumption can increase circulating zeaxanthin and support macular pigment density — one reason this little red berry has attracted considerable interest for healthy vision and aging eyes.

Antioxidants + Cellular Protection

That extraordinary red-orange color isn’t merely pretty.

Goji provides carotenoids, polyphenols and other antioxidant compounds that help protect cells against oxidative stress. Its carotenoid profile includes zeaxanthin, beta-carotene and related pigments associated with eye, skin and cellular health.

Polysaccharides + Immune Support

Among goji’s most studied compounds are its naturally occurring Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs).

Research has explored these unique polysaccharides for their antioxidant, immune-modulating, metabolic and healthy-aging properties — making goji considerably more interesting than an ordinary dried fruit.

Surprisingly Complete

Goji delivers an unusual nutritional combination for a berry:

Vitamin A • Vitamin C • Iron • Fiber • Protein • Trace minerals • All 9 essential amino acids

That combination makes it an easy whole-food way to add both phytonutrients and meaningful nutrition to everyday meals.

Why We Keep It Around

Goji manages to be both functional food and ridiculously easy snack.

We especially appreciate its impressive zeaxanthin and antioxidant content, unique polysaccharides, complete essential-amino-acid profile and traditional reputation as a longevity food — all tucked inside a naturally sweet, pleasantly tart little berry.

And unlike many things described as a “superfood,” this one actually tastes good straight out of the bag. 😉
